It isn't the lens; it's how you light your frame.
Aim with your heart, not with your eyes. When you shoot the body, you shoot its soul, and when you photograph the land, you shoot its spirit.
As a designer, it was easy to transition into photography. If I'm not composing instruments or layouts, the same theories apply to photographs. Primarily you are working with frequencies no matter what the medium is. Whether I hear bass and trebles, I also see highlights and shadows on my photographs' timbre of color with paint of light sourced from the darkest parts of me. And so it became more therapeutic and in turn to be something professional.
